Travertines of Pamukkale

Travertines of Pamukkale is approximately 20 km away from the city center of Denizli and was formed when the thermal water resources in the region gave a chemical reaction and formed calcium carbonate precipitate when they came to light. It is forbidden to enter the natural travertines collected in 2 main sections, and there is freedom to enter the artificial areas in the front without shoes and slippers. Pamukkale, which is frequented by local and foreign tourists in all seasons of the year, is also a favorite of photographers. There is also paragliding on the slope at the back of the Travertines.
